About Jessica Baird
Jessica strives to create a safe, caring environment for children and families. Using play and creative therapies, Jessica strives to meet the needs of children, youth, and families as they cope with the stress and uncertainty of illness, injury, and treatment. Jessica can also provide therapy to those experiencing a variety of concerns including anxiety, behavioral concerns, and more.
Training and Education
Jessica is a Certified Child Life Specialist and Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor. She holds a certification as a Registered Wonders and Worries Provider which is an evidence based group curriculum providing support to children and adolescents that have a parent with a chronic illness. Jessica has a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has worked in several areas both in and out of the hospital setting. She holds special training in grief counseling. Jessica is passionate about working with children and helping them through life’s challenges.

Jessica uses person-centered therapy and play in order to help clients reach their goals. She specializes in working with children and families through an established therapeutic relationship.
