About Lauren Powers
Connection, compassion, and hope are guiding principles Lauren works from. Lauren believes in the significance of the client-therapist relationship and that healing growth happens when people feel seen, heard, and deeply cared for in a safe therapeutic relationship. Lauren believes there is no one size fits all approach, and takes time to value and give attention to each person’s unique experiences and story. Lauren tailors treatment to help her clients reach their individual goals and is passionate about helping her clients recognize their own strengths, resiliency, and value. Lauren resides in Maryland with her family and enjoys playing with her puppies (she hopes to someday have a therapy dog!), being in the outdoors whether finding new hiking spots or spending time at the beach, and taking in all the books she can!
