Cheyenne strives to provide a safe and nonjudgemental space for individuals to process their experiences and the emotions that accompany them. Through a combination of talk and play therapy, she meets each individual where they are and helps them work toward their goals. Cheyenne views the world through a person- centered lens, focusing on providing empathy, respect and genuineness for all.
Training and Education
Cheyenne is a Licensed Clinical Professional counselor. She has a Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Cheyenne has experience working in community mental health at both clinic and school settings. She has experience in working with families and students ranging from preschool through high school, as well as adults. Cheyenne has received training in Parent child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
Therapeutic Approach
Cheyenne incorporates a combination of play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques into her therapy practice. She is person-centered in her approach, treating each individual with dignity, respect and empathy. Cheyenne works collaboratively with both children and adults to accomplish their goals.
