Testimonials

"Rachel formally supervised me for two years and has served as my mentor during the past four years as a doctoral student. Throughout the rollercoaster of graduate school, Rachel has remained an unceasing source of support and balance throughout even the most uncertain and unsettling times (yes, even during a global pandemic!). She has a warm, authentic, and person-centered approach to supervision that allows for both personal and professional growth of supervisees. Rachel invited and encouraged me to pursue opportunities to attend conferences, speak on a podcast, network with providers, and serve as a student board member for the Maryland/DC Branch of the Association of Play Therapy. Rachel welcomes consultation and collaboration with her supervisees and encourages them to develop their authentic voice, both within their own clinical practice and within supervision. In line with her practice philosophy, Rachel encourages supervisees to use creative and playful forms of expression in supervision. I am forever grateful that Rachel and my paths crossed years ago because I not only gained a supervisor, but also gained a lifelong mentor along the way!" —Victoria

"Rachel is an excellent play therapy supervisor. She is knowledgeable and wise, offers helpful guidance about working with kid clients, and is always encouraging. I felt lucky to have her!" —Sarah Jordan, LCPC, RPT
