Christine Corry

Therapist, LCSW-C
Christine Corry, LCSW-C (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker. She is passionate about working with tweens, teens, and young adults to meet them where they're at and create a space for them to feel heard and understood. Her experience allowed her to build skills working with behavioral and self-esteem challenges, trauma, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. She also works with caregivers to foster understanding of difficult behaviors, build communication skills, and increase connectedness.

About Christine Corry

Christine strives to truly meet teens and young adults where they are and give them the opportunity to be heard and understood. She was born and raised in Maryland and is the middle child of 3. She enjoys traveling - either solo or with her husband - and spending time with her 5 nieces and nephews. In her spare time, she likes reading, painting, and playing cozy games on her Switch.

Training and Education

Christine holds an LCSW-C and earned an MSW from University of Maryland, Baltimore, with a focus on clinical work with children and families. She has experience supporting youth and their families in both school and community settings. She has received training in TF-CBT, play therapy, and treating PTSD/C-PTSD. She also has experience working with youth who are suicidal or self-harming and their families and does so with a harm-reduction and safety-focused lens.

Therapeutic Approach

Christine’s approach is warm and casual with a hint of humor and spice. She works to build a strong foundation of trust and rapport to allow the therapeutic relationship to withstand the challenging work of addressing trauma, processing vulnerable emotions, and recognizing problematic habits and behaviors. She often incorporates art, journaling, role play, and somatic experiencing to foster self-acceptance, emotional expression, and healing.
