Keisharely Pérez-Arocho, LCPC (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She specializes in person-centered therapy, play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). She is bilingual and is able to provide sessions in Spanish or English. Keisharely works with children, adolescents, and adults. She provides teletherapy services only.

About Keisharely Pérez-Arocho

Keisharely strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore difficulties and build resilience. She embraces the experiences and differences that each individual brings and demonstrates compassion and respect for every client. Keisharely has also worked in various settings with teens and adults who have had concerns about anxiety, depressed mood, and significant life transitions. She is bilingual and is able to provide sessions in Spanish or English. She values time with friends and family and enjoys educating about mental health topics on social media.

Training and Education

Keisharely is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland. She has a Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland and completed internships at Gifts Mental Health Clinic and at Zen for Change. She has experience working with families and students from elementary, middle, and high school. 

Therapeutic Approach

Keisharely incorporates therapeutic interventions that lead to the development of personal coping strategies and emotional regulation. She draws from the models of person-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). She is committed to continual learning and training opportunities for ever widening as a practitioner. 

Additionally, Keisharely has provided mental health services at school-based programs and private practice settings. She had experience advocating for clients who need accommodations in the school setting. This includes but isn't limited to clients who may have an IEP or 504 Plan.
