The most impactful piece of therapy is to be seen, heard, and loved. Myah aims to create a space for her clients that is nonjudgmental, safe for exploration, and that is culturally inclusive for all children and adults. She loves to find what works best for her clients and is striving to try new things to fit her clients needs and interests.
Training and Education
Myah is a graduate-level Psychology Associate pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and her two master's degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland College Park and Loyola University Maryland. Myah has volunteered as a crisis text line counselor, group therapy leader, and selective mutism camp counselor. Most recently, Myah has been working as a graduate student clinician at a community mental health clinic, offering therapy and assessment to children, adolescents, adults, and families. This experience has offered her valuable training to work with a myriad of presenting challenges and build a strong connection with clients in various stages of life.

Therapeutic Approach
Myah uses an eclectic and client-centered approach that utilizes CBT, ACT, DBT, and exposure. She can work with children, adolescents, and adults providing talk and play therapy. Her specialties are selective mutism, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, and parenting. Myah places a strong value on the power of the therapeutic relationship and the individuality of each client. She believes that therapy should be shaped and molded by the client and therapist together and is excited to help create a safe and welcoming environment for her clients.
