Ashtyn Breit (she/her) has a passion for helping young children, adolescents, and their families and is dedicated to creating a warm and inclusive therapeutic space that is tailored to meet each client’s individual needs. She has gained experience working with children in multiple settings where she’s worked with a variety of children and individuals from different backgrounds. In her free time, Ashtyn enjoys reading historical fiction novels, arts and crafts, being out in nature, and baking.
Training and Education
Ashtyn is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Children and Youth from Augustana University in South Dakota. For the past four years, Ashtyn has worked in childcare settings with the most recent at a substance-use treatment center for mothers and their children. Here she has gained experience working with children under the age of ten and their mothers and has learned the importance of providing a warm, patient, and empathetic space to support individuals. She is excited to join Creative Psychological Health Services and looks forward to building upon her skillset and experience.

Therapeutic Approach
Ashtyn is interested in integrating play and expressive therapies, cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, behavior therapy, and person-centered therapy into her therapeutic approach. She believes in creating an inclusive therapeutic environment that centers on the individual and their unique needs to create a treatment that is personalized to the client. Ashtyn strives to create a space where each client feels heard and respected.
Ashtyn enjoys working with young children and is open to working with teens as well.
